Born in Revelstoke, BC and raised in the Okanagan. This mountain girl loves investigating, hiking, painting, and yoga. Motivated with a life-long interest in the outdoors recreationally and scientifically. 

 

She has a passion to work with data in a meaningful way and is in pursuit of geospatial projects. She started her GIS adventure studying and achieved her advanced diploma in GIS through Selkirk College.

Past experience with planning, forestry, and hydrology work. She has an Integrated Environmental Planning Technology diploma along with her Advanced GIS diploma. GIS training has given Talor technical skills in cartography, GPS applications, many software programs, web mapping, data management and expertise with the ESRI platform.

Computer Skills:

• Spatial analysis, data management, working with data portals, geovisualization and automation.

• Software experience with ESRI Products, ArcGIS Server, FME, Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, QGIS, Familiarity with Python, GPS Pathfinder, remote sensing image interpretation with ENVI, SQL, Aquarius, Qrev, Trimble, SoniTek, Avenza, GIS Cloud, electronic field notes, Cengea and web mapping.
